Create and Download a Meeting Transcript
MinuteTaker accepts VTT, SRT, and plain-text transcripts. You can also paste transcript text from the clipboard.
Before starting a transcription, inform the meeting participants and follow your organization’s requirements.
Microsoft Teams
During the meeting, select More actions → Record and transcribe → Start transcription.
After the meeting, open its chat and select Recap → Transcript → Download. Choose the VTT format for MinuteTaker.

Zoom
During the meeting, select More → Transcript.
Open the Transcript panel and select Save transcript to save a TXT file. Retained transcripts may also be available as VTT files under Recordings & Transcripts.

Google Meet
During the meeting, select Meeting tools → Transcribe → Start transcription.
Google saves the transcript in the organizer’s Google Drive and attaches it to the Calendar event. Open the document and copy its text into MinuteTaker.

Webex
Open the Captions panel during the meeting and select Download before the meeting ends.
Webex saves the transcript as a text file.
Voice Memos on iPhone
Open Voice Memos and record the meeting. When the recording is finished:
- Select the recording.
- Select the More button.
- Select Copy Transcript.
- Open MinuteTaker and select Add Minutes → From Transcript.
- Select Pick a transcript → Paste.
To copy only part of the transcript, select View Transcript and select the required text.
Voice Memos transcription requires an iPhone 12 or later and a supported language. It is not available in every country or region.

Other Meeting Apps
If another service can export VTT, SRT, or plain text, import that file into MinuteTaker. Otherwise, copy and paste the transcript text.
