Store and sync documents with Files and cloud providers

MinuteTaker documents are files. Their storage and synchronization are managed by the location you choose in Apple’s document browser.

Choose where a document is stored

  1. In MinuteTaker’s document browser, open Browse or the sidebar.
  2. Under Locations, choose On My iPhone or On My iPad for local storage, iCloud Drive for Apple sync, or an enabled third-party provider.
  3. Open the destination folder, then tap Create Meeting Notes.

Set up iCloud Drive

In Settings, tap your name, then iCloud → Drive, and enable Sync this iPhone or Sync this iPad. Use the same Apple Account on your devices. Apple’s iCloud Drive guide

Add Google Drive, OneDrive, or another provider

Install and sign in to the provider’s app. In Files, tap Browse → More → Edit, enable the provider, then tap DoneApple’s provider guide

Avoid conflicting changes: Close the document and allow its provider to finish syncing before opening it on another device. MinuteTaker does not support simultaneous editing or live collaboration.

Third-party availability and synchronization behavior are controlled by the provider. If a location is missing or fails to sync, check its app and account.
