Share action items with task apps
Send an action item to Apple Reminders, Things, OmniFocus, or Todoist.
- Open the action item you want to share.
- Tap the share button in the top-right corner.
- Tap Create Reminder in…
- Choose Reminders, Things, OmniFocus, or Todoist.
- Review and save the task in the destination app when prompted.
The first time you choose Reminders, allow MinuteTaker to access your reminders. MinuteTaker saves the action item in your default Reminders list.
If an app is unavailable
Things, OmniFocus, and Todoist can only be selected when the corresponding app is installed on the device.
MinuteTaker transfers the action item title, text, due date, and available context such as owners, status, tags, and the source meeting. The exact fields depend on the destination app.
Attachments are not transferred. Owners and status are added as text; they do not assign the task or set its completion state in the destination app. Todoist receives at most 200 characters of task text.
The share menu also provides options for Mail, Calendar, printing, and the system share sheet.
